A beautiful antidote to the dreich weather we are experiencing, this volume celebrates all things poetry! We are incredibly grateful for all the generous contributions from poets new and experienced, which made this volume possible. From Gemma Third’s surreal and magical creatures under the table, Mike Cowley’s time travel to the era of Rockers and Mods to some gorgeous yet vulnerable work by Romana Docherty and Shae Morgon- there’s sure to be something to whet your appetite.
We officially welcomed Jodi Harris-Walker (Contemporary Art Practice 2 student) and Olive Whigham (Foundation Art and Design student) to the CAPture team. We are biased but think their skills, support and collaboration have made this a pretty strong contender!
And exciting news… The fun doesn’t stop there! We are having a wee event on 11th Feb at Leith Depot to celebrate the beautiful work. There might also be time for a sneaky open mic so if you didn’t get work in for our open call there’s still time to get in on the word party! It’s free and unticketed so just grab a pal and a pint and join us for what promises to be a great evening.
