CAPture volume 2: UNiTE to End Digital Violence against all Women and Girls

We are really proud to publish our second volume of art and art writing exploring the critical theme of gender-based violence. It is with a warm heart that we support the worldwide UN Campaign of 16 Days of Activism to end violence against women and girls and a full programme of events run by Edinburgh College’s Student Union ECSA. Delighted that our discussions have led to a collaboration with Rape Crisis Scotland in producing a free interactive module for all staff and students exploring consent, gender-based violence and bystander approaches as well as where to get support. A huge thanks to ECSA for your fantastic work in implementing this.

In this issue we welcome new writers Jodi Harris-Walker, who reviews Marina Abramic’s Balkan Erotic, and Matthew Francey who explores toxic masculinity online. Featuring artwork by CAP students Harpreet Singh, Borislava Georgieva and an interview with MOTHEROTHER’s Sue Loughlin we are sure you’ll find something to pique your interest.

As always, we invite any constructive feedback, suggestions or proposals, so please get in touch:
